The ex-Local Chairman

Ok, many of you know I spent some time as the BLET Local Chairman for our division. I can say I did enjoy most of what I was doing, and the real reason why I did what I did was to try and make it better for the majority. But as most of you know it is a thankless job, and it has many downfalls. It was hard on my family, and I was given a choice, either the LC job or my family. And as many of you know family is, and should be first and foremost in our lives.

I still try to help our L/C now, and if there are issues that come up I will try to get them posted here, so at least some of us will have some sort of understanding of what is going on.

Well I thought I would give this a try. First off I am not an english major, or have any good journalizing skills.

A little about me, I am a Locomotive Engineer, a father, and far from my roots.

I thought I would use this blog to put out my thoughts, and things that are happening around here. I also thought maybe my family and friends back home would like to see some of my doings, and what is going on in this part of my life.
